APRA QLD State Championship Rodeo Annual Diamond Shears
The favourite bush pastime of a rodeo is an integral part of the story told in the Australian Stockman’s Hall of Fame. This, along with a long-standing association with the APRA (Australian Professional Rodeo Association) has resulted in a joining of forces to bring a professional rodeo to the Hall of Fame.

The Pro Rodeo is part of the northern run to Cloncurry and Mount Isa for the rodeo circuit, and will attract the top rodeo riders from around the country.

The event – the 2008 Queensland State Championship Rodeo – will be held on 26 July 2008. It will feature slack events, a Grand Entry Parade and the Pro Rodeo.
